Table of Contents
Bookshelf
Book shelf is an app the lets you enter all of your physical books. So I’d recommend it if you’re someone with a lot of hardbacks and paperbacks. Book shelf is basically a library on your phone.
You can mark book as read/ unread, rate books and search by author or genre.
Kindle
Kindle is a book reading app. You can sign up for kindle unlimited for $11.99 a month to get access to thousands of e books. You don’t need kindle unlimited to read some books you can choose to buy them individually and some are even free.
But I’d say kindle unlimited is definitely worth the money as you get a more extensive variety.
Book of the month
Book of the month is just like it sounds. You pay to have a book sent to you every month for $17.99 a month.
Every month they have new pics for all genres and you pick one you want sent to you.
Goodreads
You can find great recommendations on good reads and read reviews on your favorite books.
Good reads is also a good reading app to use to track your reading. You can mark books as read, currently reading and want to read.
Goodreads also have a reading challenge menu where you can set how many books you want to read and it tracks where you are in you challenge like : how many books are you ahead, books you’ve read so far, and dates read if your tracking.
Likewise
Like wise is a terribly underrated reading app. Likewise let’s you create book lists that are searchable for others . Like you can create a fantasy fav book list, small town romance and it helps others who are looking for a specific sun genre.
Another one of my fav features is the “asks”. You can post what exactly you’re looking for in a book and other readers will share what books matches your ask.
You can also save books that you see and it goes to your own little reading list.
You can do the same on this app for movies/ tv shows & podcasts
