everyone loves when an adaptation of a book hits the screen, because we like to see what’s different and what follows the original storyline in the book. take, for instance, “the Lord of the rings “and “the vampire diaries”. everyone loves those TV series but not many people know they were originally booking first.

The 2019 version is the most popular because it includes some of the most famous and well know celebrities like Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, and Timothe Chalamet. People love when their faces play characters on the big screen from a book they loved.

2) Recent bestsellers turned into blockbusters

  • dune by Frank Herbert

Another book to movie adaptation I, and I’m sure most people, never heard of dune before. But when the movies came out starring popular actors like Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet the books became more well known. It started showing up more on bookstores.

  • Where the crawdads sing by Delia Owens

Where the crawdads sing was very popular on Book Tok for a while and is New York Times bestseller. When it was turned into a movie view on it was about 50/50 some people loved it some hate it. But it did become more talked about among readers a movie watcher alike.

  • The vampire diaries by L.J smith

The vampire diaries, even though the show has come to an end in 2017 is one of the most popular tv show. Those who read the books and watched the show now there are many differences from the book.

Characters and plots are different from the actual book. But all in all, fans seem to favor the tv show version of events than the books.

Game of thrones is another popular fan favorite for this who enjoy the fantasy genre. The show follows main key plots from the book but there are obviously going to be some changes. I mean I’ve never seen a show follow its book scene to scene all the way through, have you?

The Harry Potter books where so successful it got 8 movies. Even to this day people have this series on their shelf and enjoy reading them.

I think everyone can agree that the films where better for the divergent series. There are 4 books in total but only 3 movies. These movies came out around the time the dystopian genre was very popular.

Literally popular dystopian books were becoming movies increasing sales of both. Some examples are the hunger games, the maze runner, the fifth wave. See all where books.

The third season just came out! Fans already love the Bridgerton series, ever since the season 1 came out the books have been getting a lot more attention. This season is all about Collin and Penelope.

People who haven’t read the books first would want to before watching the on-screen adaptation to get the full experience.
